1. The FileToolKit Privacy Commitment

At FileToolKit, our architectural design is guided by an uncompromising principle: We do not collect, view, or store your documents, images, spreadsheets, or files.

2. In-Browser Client-Side Processing

Unlike traditional file conversion websites that upload your confidential files to remote web servers, our tools execute directly inside your web browser using HTML5 Canvas, WebAssembly, and local JavaScript. When you resize a photo, merge PDF contracts, or clean a CSV spreadsheet, the file data never leaves your computer or phone.

3. Local Storage Preferences

We use your browser's local storage (localStorage) strictly to remember your UI preferences, such as Dark/Light theme mode, your starred Favorite tools, and your recently used tools list. This data is stored entirely on your device and is never synchronized with any remote server.

4. No Account Required

FileToolKit requires no account creation, email registration, or subscription payment. We never ask for personally identifiable information (PII).

Any updates to our platform will maintain this core client-side privacy architecture.
